We founded The Brickspace - Twin Soo Bricks with two goals in mind: providing an outlet for creativity, and an alternative shopping experience to a big box store. Our passion for community has driven us from the beginning, and continues to drive us into the future - maybe into other Northern communities eventually! Help us make our Sault Ste. About Our Founder
Derek Pearce has been a LEGO fan since the early 1990's, receiving his first set at just 5 years old. He's always loved LEGO because being a creative-type, the possibilities are endless with what you can create! His favourite LEGO themes are Harry Potter, Star Wars, & City.
When envisioning The Brickspace, Derek wants to create an intimate and more personal shopping experience, as well as an outlet for people to be creative and have a fun place to hang with like-minded individuals! Throughout this brick building hobby, Derek has had the opportunity to meet and collaborate with some pretty amazing people, both through the creation of The Brickspace, along with Twin Soo Bricks which he has been operating online since 2009. He's excited to see The Brickspace expand and grow into a retail experience for all ages!
